On the 11. September 2001, thousands of passengers from all over the world landed in the small town of Gander in Newfoundland, as a result of the closure of U.S. airspace following the terrorist attacks. Among them were two Austrians. Trapped along with the other passengers, they spent five days sleeping on camp beds and being fed and cared for by the inhabitants of Gander. 10 years later, they return to Gander for the first time for the anniversary celebrations.
