In five episodes, Johann-Philipp Spiegelfeld visits Austrian aristocrats at home and introduces the viewer to lives lived in palaces and castles. Given unparalleled access, the show reveals hidden treasures, fascinating family histories and historical curiosities. The 40-year-old presenter is, himself, of aristocratic descent and also a professional pilot, a paramedic with Malteser International and a father. He studied history and now uses his in-depth knowledge of Austria's historical nobility to provide compelling insights into what goes on behind the country's castle walls.
