Ethiopia – the cradle of humanity – has been the site of the most striking discoveries of anthropologists in search of our ancestors. It was on its Afar plain that "Lucy“ was found, the best-preserved skeleton of a precursor of man, as well as innumerable other finds of sensational import. But the region is also the spot of a dire battle over bones.
This documentary records the adventure of the hunt for our ancestors and provides a behind-the-scene glance of the scientific stage.
